Dave - I think I have (on)checked right after dbimport on 7.10.UC1 and 7.12.UC1. I'll have an
opportunity to check again with 7.12.UC3 for Solaris 2.4 in a few days, so I'll be extra careful
to check immediately, then report back....maybe I goofed.
I spoke with a couple of consultants at the local (Informix) office who suggested it was due to
top down index build (which really floored me...), hence my belief that this might be the culprit.
