Gabriele I have installed the DBD::Informix on my Linux RH 5.2 system. It worked right out of the box. The only problem (created by me) I had was not setting all the environment variables as suggested in the README so it failed the make test part. I then went back and set all the environment variables and reran the make test and make install and everything ran OK. I am using it currently and so far haven't found problems with it. I'm finding the same problem everywhere: I must add -lcrypt to my makefiles because in ver 5.x libs are splitted, but this object seems to use a "perl Makefile.PL" which I don't know how to modify.
