It could be a typo, but in your onconfig file the file is
/dbdisks/rootdbs
and you have created the link as /dbdisk/rootdisk.
Is it right.
Another question - have you created the mirror device file (/dbdisks/mirrorroot)?
And the last question - have you changed the ownership/group of files
to informix:informix and the permissions to 660 on the link AND on the
device special file ?
