ER performance

Background. I have replication set up on 2 servers A and B. Update anywhere is how ER is configured. I can send 80 transactions/sec to Server A using multiple clients. Server A sends the transactions to Server B in a very timely fashion. Server B only is able to process about 30 transactions/sec from the recieve queue. If I send the tranactions to server B and let it replicate to server A, I get the same performance. I am running 7.31uc5 on AIX 4.3.2. Question 1. Since ER is only first in first out on playing transactions from the receive queue and single threaded am I bottle necked there? Question 2. What should I look at to determine what is my ER bottle neck? TIA David Link
