Hi peps. We have IDS 11.50 with no extra modules, hosted in unix-like OS (linux, solaris, aix, etc.) The clients are ODBC or .NET Data Provider from Windows OS. I need to store files from the clients to the BD (in some kind of BLOB i guess) and then of course the inverse way, read the file from DB and save it it client (print-it, etc.) In the db there is no need of process the file in any way, just store and then recover from/to clients. I need guidance on how to do this, the simple way the better. Remember ODBC or .NET data provider. Thanks guys.

You'll want to use the BLOB datatype. The SQL functions LOTOFILE and FILETOBLOB are your friends.
