Mr Nasty, please change your moniker; I feel ridiculous responding to your name. ;-) Anyway, I had a related problem with a Novell environment but I freely admit utter ignorance of Novell. However, I recently dialed up a PPP connection (which sets up TCP/IP communication protocols) and got the warning to the effect that I would be unable to use Novell networking while the PPP line was open.
