Hi Richard,
As far as I know, IDS has not been compiled with the "large file support".
That means you are right. You cannot create diskfiles larger than 2 GB with
Informix tools.
But this should not be a problem if you can do your dbexport onto tape (and
I am afraid that would be the only possibility you have).
