I dismiss the subject because it's been done to death a thousand times, nobody is changing their attitude, it's changing very little in the environment, and it's only brought up continually by people who seem to have the unmistakable fury of an alcoholic. I'm sick of the bloody IBM argument, so why is it wrong for me to state that I won't be joining in again? Since you missed it, I was speaking for myself, telling you I will not be arguing about IBM. Take it elsewhere - I think you are being very unfair to hard-working Madison by polluting his thread with yet another piss-ant depressive whinge, without at least changing the subject line. Since you were too lazy I did the work for you. Feel free to piss and moan, but use your own subject so that you are easily ignored. I woudn't presume to be in charge, because clearly you are in charge and know EXACTLY what is going on and what should be done to fix everything for everyone for ever. > In case you weren't aware there are actually people out there that > do not have to look for group consensus on their opinions, and are > willing to stand on their own two feet, right or wrong, without > whimpering to the community for support. Well, precious, take a look at the history on Google then. I pissed and moaned along with the best of them when the news first broke, in fact I think I was one of the more vocal and hysterical ones. But then I started to think *for my self* and began to see that's it's not all bad. Furthermore, after a few months I started to see that it's not going to be reversed. So I wasn't influenced by group-pressures, and you are clearly talking without facts or proper research if you accuse me of succumbing to peer group pressure. Perhaps I was even a bit of an calming influence on the group by the time I changed my attitude and continued to post me feelings WHEN IT WAS STILL RELEVANT. I dunno - maybe not, who cares who was listening? > You said things to me that were inaccurate, then when I respond you > suddenly, spinelessly duck out, and then add your typical political > sucking up. Rolling my eyes and distancing myself from yet another useless rant is not "Spinelessly ducking out". As if anyone will ever get anything through your 10 gallon skull anyway. Has your impotent screaming ever changed anything apart from the ever-changing little circle of people who tolerate you until you drive them away? > Anyway, I know you're trying to reach sainthood by the end of year, > please do me a small favor don't go and whine and weeze to the > community that I stood up to you. So you are not man enough to stand up for yourself without completely losing your temper and hurling impotent abuse in all directions? Don't ask me to fill that gap. Try an encounter group. Try AA. Try forgiving your father. And finally, to wrap up before killfiling you forever: > So Malcom turned his self-righteous-zealot-asshole-moderator-job > over to YOU? > I find it annoying when arrogant-lil-bitches say they're not getting > You must have to carry a towel around wiping your face > off spending so much time up other-peoples-asses. > pull your head out, and have a hearty, piping hot cup of STFU. Nice one Tim. Very well reasoned argument. I see, after all, that you are right, and we are all fools. Thankyou for such a lucid and rational expose' of the truth. IBM, I hope you read Tim's output and have lurnt from it. PS - accusing you of being an alcoholic with psychological problems? Of *course* I don't know if you are an alcoholic. It's a pretty shabby thing to accuse you of that, isn't? Still, you get what you give, don't you buddy? Don't let the truth, the facts, or a confession of ignorance stop anyone from hurling abuse! What's the fun in that? Keep up the good work. We all love you.
