Error -951 when starting IDS2000 on RedHat

Hi I get the following message in the log when I try to start up IDS 2000 with onsoctcp: "listener-thread: err = -951: oserr = 0: errstr = informix: Incorrect password or user informix is not known on the database server." I can rlogin to user informix from the server to itself, so I think, network security files are O.K. Onipcshm works fine. Anyone has got an idea ? Thanks Elemer

Do not use md5 password encription in your Linux box - Informix doesn't understand it, try to use des instead. Good luck. Sergey.
