Re: NT on UNIX is it true?

] > anyone heard of implementing NT on SUN UNIX boxes? ] ] Sun Sparc is not a supported platform for Windows NT. Sun may tell ] customers that they have it running in their labs to be able to sell ] their architecture, but I don't think you will ever be able to run ] Windows NT on current Sun hardware. Thompson-CSF or Integraph issued a release a long time back saying that they would perform the port. SMCC (the hardware division at Sun) ship 'naked iron' as they would say and the planet SunSoft puts an OS (Solaris) on it. -- Nigel Campbell Voice: (613) 738-1338 ext 3016 P.O.
