This might work if your new rootdbs points to a link. Otherwise the restore
will just put the rootdbs back where it was. If you used dbexport or other
flat-file data saves, it would definitely work.
Another thing to try would be to create a mirror of the rootdbs onto a raw
chunk, take the primary (cooked) rootdbs down. I'm not exactly where to go
from there, does anyone know whether the mirror could then be converted to
primary?
