database comparsion: Informix vs. Sybase; any info out there?

The subject line said it all: Is there anything in the FAQ of those news group, or are there any white papers on the subject achived somewhere on the net. Sybase seems to have more support from third-party (middle-ware) vendor and is doing very well these day. However, Informix is also coming out with trigger in the Online 5.1 version. As far as serious imaging application go, seems like Informix are still the database choice because of their blob implementation. For example, Informix allow a predefined page size increment ((8,16,32K) where Sybase only increment on a 2K page size. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Is informix a better choice for a image database and Sybase better for your typical OLTP. (Wall Street type). If you prefer to eamil me directly, I will summarize result and post. Maybe in these day, the SAG, ODBC ... will really make these database talk to one another and we don't have to choose between them and have them all for whatever they are good for......
