Carroll On most UNIX platforms there's a Logical Volume manager ( sometimes it's called Virtual Disk Manager ). LVMs help you to create as many logical partitions for your physical partitions as you will need. Please, be so kind and tell us what operating system you are using. Best regards, Stefan Weideneder
