HUPDATE record format

I am trying to decode HUPDATE records. I have indentified a transaction which changes a value in a database. I am now trying to decode the HUPDATE record so that I can determine exactly which columns within the record are updated. We have a problem in that one column in a record is being altered but we can't understand exactly why. The HUPDATE record in the logical log shows that 5 pieces of the record are being updated and I am interested to know what pieces these are. And to make my life even more exciting the value that is being changed is a floating point number. Somedays I wonder what I have done to have such an intersting challenge. Just find the starting point of the floating point number in the data area of the log record via syscolumns.coltype and then map it to the dec_t structure -----Original Message----- From: ids-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:ids-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of MALCOLM WEALLANS Sent: Thursday, January 13, 2011 9:01 AM To: ids@iiug.org Subject: HUPDATE record format [22404] I am trying to decode HUPDATE records.
