Hi Paul! This error (-25588) only occurs for shm-connections. The programm is started and at the point of the DATABASE statement it isn't possible to get a connection to the server (I suppose the DATABASE statement is in the DEFINE section). So you should check your onconfig-file for NETTYPE parameter. Increase your NETTYPE setting for ipcshm. Remember that each shm-connection requires 1 semaphore, so you should check your kernel settings for semaphores too. HTH Martina Lang
