DB 7.21 (HP-UX 10.20) hangs while backup

We do a backup with onbar suddenly the Database processes hang When I start for example onstat -l the process hangs and i couldn't kill this process with kill -9. I can't kill any informix process with kill -9. I must do a reboot. After the reboot the Database starts correct until I do a backup. What could be the problem. Wolfgang Klaus
