HELP Upgrade from 5 to 7

HELP, 02-Apr-1996 I am trying to upgrade from 5.06.uc2 OnLine to version 7.11.uc1 on a Sun running Solaris 2.4. Informix delivered the "INFORMIX-OnLine Dynamic Server Migration Guide Version 7.1" and I tryed to do the upgrade as described in this manual. One of the steps is to upgrade the indexes in the existing version 5 database after the installation of version 7 software. This upgrade of indexes can be done using the oncheck -cI. As you can see, it does not work. The other way with update statistics is also filled with bugs. (I have tryed many different tables.) Must I unload/load on ascii format ? Is this just the beginning of a time with more and worse bugs than in version 5 of OnLine ? ------------------------------------ Some of the output from oncheck -cI: ------------------------------------ Validating indexes for kundedb:ale.ks_htnadr...
