Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

This 674 error began as a result of dropping and recreating an existing stored
procedure.
The snippet below is from the trace file for the failing stored procedure.
for each row actions:
exception : looking for handler
SQL error = -674 ISAM error = -111 error string = = "court.case_auto_dkt"exception : no appropriate handler
Process works like this:
There are two separate databases. Insert into database1 table1 triggers
stored procedure A in database2.
Stored procedure A in database2 executes stored procedure B in database2.
Stored procedure B executes Stored Procedure C (court.case_auto_dkt) in
database2
If we execute the procedure A from dbaccess within the database2 it works
fine.
We have even qualified the execute statement to include
databasename:"owner".storedprocedurename
We have also run update statistics for each stored procedure beginning with
the last one (case_auto_dkt), then stored procedure B,then stored procedure A.
Has anyone any ideas on how to proceed with this?
It worked fine prior to dropping and recreating stored procedure A.
