How about the 32bit Informix for the 64bit AIX ? Then your 3rd party uses the 32bit libraries, and your opsys is still 64bit .... Or do you specifically need the UC version ? We now find that we have to downgrade to ISQL 7.32.UC2 for AIX 5.3 32 bit. The reason is that a third party package uses 32bit informix libaries and we are encountering compatability issues. What does the panel think about our chances of getting away without recompiling the ACE reports and forms?
