Data truncated using OLEDB

A stored procedure (SP) in Informix 7.x SE produces the data I want. Running the same SP from VB6.0 using Merant Datadirect OLEDB Informix9 results in CHar data to be truncated down to 25 characters. Anyone know why? Is it Informix or OLEDB driver? Thanks PN

PN: When using ADO (or ASP) with the 2.10 DataDirect OLE DB Providers, data in characters fields are being returned incorrectly or are truncated to approximately half their length. This behavior has been seen in the Sybase, Informix and Oracle providers. Resolution There is a patch available to correct this problem. Customers need the file incvt01.dll dated 4/20/99. Please contact technical support via email to obtain this patch.
