Hi All,
I'm trying to execute a SP through ESQL/C. This SP returns 0 if no error =
has occured, else the error number is returned.
the code is something like this:
EXEC SQL PREPARE procerr from "EXECUTE PROCEDURE LDC_SP_UPDDELMNT()";
EXEC SQL EXECUTE procerr INTO :interrno;
if (interrno !=3D 0)
{
rgetlmsg(interrno, strerrmsg, sizeof(strerrmsg), &intmsglen);
printf("\\n Error encountered in procedure \\n");
printf("\\n Error %d: \\n", interrno);
printf(strerrmsg);
exit(1);
}
The SP executes fine when I run it throughdbaccess and SQL editor for =
Win NT. But when I run my program,I get the following error:
Error encountered in procedure
Error 82620:
Unknown error message 82620.=20
And Informix crashes down. The online.log gives the following message:
20:00:22 Assert Failed: Internal Error - Segmentation Violation

Violation.

My SysAdmin is going crazy over this. Well, so am I.
What could be wrong?
INFORMIX-SQL Version 7.20.UC2 =20
Thanks,
George
