You need Informix runnning. These are SE - there never has been SE for Windows. -----Original Message----- From: owner-informix-list@iiug.iiug.org [mailto:owner-informix-list@iiug.iiug.org]On Behalf Of Sam Smith Sent: Monday, November 20, 2000 3:29 AM To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: Reading Informix tables in Access Apologies if this question has been asked before but I've searched the web and can't find anything. I have a load of Informix tables with their corresponding .idx files on a Win2000 system. I need to read these tables back in Access. All of the ODBC drivers that I have found assume that you have a running Informix server to plug-in to and get the data off. In my case the data is 'dead' as it is from copy of a hard disk. Is there any way to read the data into Access without having a live Informix server? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sam

There have been some SE versions for Windows 16bit and also for 32bit, one of the latest was Informix SE 7.20.TD1 I am not sure if there is an Informix SE version for Windows that can be accessed via ODBC. But Informix SE for Unix/Linux can be accessed via ODBC. > > > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-informix-list@iiug.iiug.org > [mailto:owner-informix-list@iiug.iiug.org]On Behalf Of Sam Smith > Sent: Monday, November 20, 2000 3:29 AM > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: Reading Informix tables in Access > > Apologies if this question has been asked before but I've searched the web > and can't find anything. > > I have a load of Informix tables with their corresponding .idx files on a > Win2000 system.
