D4gl 3.0 slow

Hi I'm upgrading D4gl from v2.02 to v3.0 on SCO 5.0.4, Informix 5.10 and Windows 95 client. I'm finding that the applications are running much slower. The documentation mentions something about local editing which should actually improve the performance but this is not happening. Anyone experiencing similar problems?
