Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Which version of UNIX are you running and on what platform.
Why are you performance tuning the UNIX kernel? Why not
a) Look at the applications running and may sure they are using
indicies?
b) May sure you database is spread across several disks?
c) Tuning your Informix server?
UNIX kernel tuning maks very little difference unless you have tried
all the other options first.
