Hi, In the past we used IDS 7.30 on NT. We have now done an update to 7.31. The Command Center that we have used in the past is not working anymore since that upgrade. We now have find another program that should do the same : * Intraware Informix Server Administrator . But before I can use it I must install ActivePerl and apache HTTP server version 1.3.6. Does anyone know about other products that are doing the same ?? Thanks, Franky
ISA is a web based tool that provides a lot of information about the IDS. Current NT-release 1.10 covers most of the tasks you can do with IECC except for importing/exporting. But you can do some other tasks better than before. Instead of Apache you can also use MS Internet Information Server 4.0 (part of the NT Option Pack) which is more comfortable under NT. Installation of ActivePerl is quite easy and no problem at all, but the configuration of the web server (on the same machine as Informix) requires some time. After installing MS IIS 4 should re-install the ltest NT service pack. Regards Axel Weitermann

I've installed ISA several times and it works great, apart from the output of the succussor of SQL-Editor. Wolfgang
Informix Server Administrator (ISA) & Informix Database Administrator (IDBA) is couple of tools that replace IECC. ISA used through web as you've seen. But IDBA is under Windows. I think that administrative tools must be created by DBMS manufacturer and I use only them for administering. Thiel Franky wrote: > Hi, > > In the past we used IDS 7.30 on NT.
