I use this method for about 130 different reports for many years. Then use the macro facility in WORD to adjust the reports for a windows like look and feel. For that purpose in 4GL some markers may be added. For reports with graphics we use a report generator from Sybase called Infomaker. vanloon@wxs.nl
But with Word 2000, have you run into the asinine Unicode conversion problem with the 4GL reports? In previous versions, Word would simply bring the report in as a text file. Now it analyzes the entire report and prompts for a unicode conversion. This is annoying as hell. Have you found a way around this? mj
