As far as i can tell, when you do a backup with onbar it pulls the data out
of each dbspace into a temporary file, then copies that file to tape. (This
seems to be true with a whole-system backup anyway - onbar -b -w -L 0 )
Thus, If you have a dbspace with 2Gig of data in it (like we have), you need
2Gig of free space on whatever drive your temporary directory is on.
I'm seriously hoping that this changes in the future, as it's becoming a bit
of a pain.
Note - I'm not sure if you have a 2Gig database space in 2x1Gig chunks
whether you need 1Gig or 2Gig of temp space.
The only workaround I can think of is changing your TEMP environment
variable to point to a drive with more free space
