Check if the error message contains the name of some DLL or EXE. It used to do so in 2.00, but can't reproduce that in 2.20. If the DLL name is something like "NEWVCL.DLL" or "FGL.DLL", it has to to with the NewEra runtime libraries. Most probable cause for this is that you messed up an object's internals somewhere (supertable or the like) which causes your application to crash later on during execution. It might then even crash in functions like ixSuperTable::getSuperField(). >>What really frustrates me about this message is > that I can't reproduce it. If your application crashes in one of the NewEra runtime libraries or Windows exe's, it is generally advisable to leave Windows or even reboot your PC (turn off and on). It sometimes really helps. > Does anybody have any idea? > > Julia Frido
