The course was done by a PB VAR (Infinity Systems, Hartford, Conn.) at the client site (I was working for Andersen Consulting at the time). The course was very good, and if it is representative of the training available at PowerSoft corporate, I would definitely recommend it. They have a faxback number by which you can obtain schedules and syllabi. I don't remember that number, but you can call the general 800-YES-POWER to ask for that number. PowerSoft has a directory of VAR's and training partners that are authorized to teach classes (I'm working with one of those, Systems Consulting Group, Miami, now). Again, call the 800# to find out more. There are no generally published books on PB right now. The only structured info on it is from the training program. Maybe they did this intentionally, to reap as much profit as possible as more people are in demand for PB skills. They do seem to be pretty anal about disseminating detailed info. I asked If I could buy their class materials if I was not physically able to attend their class, and they said "no way", I must attend and pay the price (about $375 a day). This training is definitely not intended for individuals without a company sending (read "paying for") them. I will be attending a couple classes next month (OO Analysis and Design w/ PB, and Integrating with External Apps). By the way, PB version 3 is pretty awesome.
