I had a PB training course in 2/93 with Analytical Technologies (another PB VAR) when I hired in. I had already worked with PowerBuilder 1.0 and 2.0A before taking the course and while generally most of the course was old news for me, I actually learned quite a bit. I'd recommend it as well. The more familiar you can get with the system before going, the better, though. Some students had just learned Windows were still learning the interface, leaving less time for more of the "meat." >PowerSoft has a directory of VAR's and training partners that >are authorized to teach classes (I'm working with one of those, >Systems Consulting Group, Miami, now). By the way, >PB version 3 is pretty awesome. Awesome but way too "buggy." Hopefully 3.0A will take care of most of the problems. But, on the other hand, it's not half as bad as attempting to run PB 1.0 on Windows 3.0.
