Brand Denmark INFORMIX product called ViewPointPro is the client tool running both on Win3.1x and Windows 95(16-bit) for managing databases i.e creating db's,tables,indexes etc. But it doesn't give you the ability to manage DB server as you do with ONMONITOR. You can have detailed information about this product on Informix Web site. But Informix does not plan to produce new version of VPP. Another INFORMIX product coming with WorkGroup server has a client administration tool. This tool includes everthing (Online server administration and DB adm.) you may need. But for now on, server adm. module of it can work only with WGS product. In addition INFORMIX says that they will bring out this facility usable with coming releases of OnlineDS 7.? .
