sqlexec

Hi everybody, I have a IDS 7.31 on a Solaris 7 with two different instances. Each instance has one local connection (ol_db_shm service) and one TCP connection (sqlexec service, one in the 1525/tcp port and another in the 1526/tcp port). My question addresses to the SQLEXEC service, which is set up in /etc/services file. If I have two TCP connection (one per instance), should I use the same service "sqlexec" and port for both connection or do have to use two different services and ports (e.g., sqlexec1 at 1525 and sqlexec2 at 1526) ??? The combination of host address and service (port number) must be unique. So if you have two instances they can use the same port if they use different network interfaces (assuming you have more than one) say myserv_e1 and myserv_e2 pointing of course to different addresses not just aliases for the same address or they can share a single (or multiple) interfaces if they use different port numbers (services).
