LinkedServer - Oledb provider with IDS 11.50.FC6

Informix 11.50.FC6W1 running on linux_64 machine. Hello my friends. Today I received an error on Sql Server 2008 R2, running on Windows 2008 R2. OLE DB provider "Ifxoledbc" for linked server "IFX_OLEDB_CTE" returned message "EIX000: (-674) Routine (oledbcollen) can not be resolved. ". Msg 7311, Level 16, State 2, Line 1 Cannot obtain the schema rowset "DBSCHEMA_COLUMNS" for OLE DB provider "Ifxoledbc" for linked server "IFX_OLEDB_CTE". The provider supports the interface, but returns a failure code when it is used. Then I supposed something different on coledbp.sql file, and found an interesting issue: The procedure informix.oledbcollen(oledbtype smallint, collength smallint) listed on the clientSDK 3.50.FC7 is different from the clientSDK3.70.FC1 (in some aspects). The trouble was solved, just creating the "new" version on sysmaster database. I´d like to document this so that anyone could use the right version, ok? (in order to avoid execution troubles, I kept the older version along, also). Maybe the eng team could modify the coledbp.sql file, so that the two versions are available, if needed (I don´t know why it changed, really). Best regards!
