I´m triing to install informix i.reach product. Previusly I´ve installed Informix Dynamic Server with Universal Data. My problem is that I don´t Know what is the document of the sbspace. The Warning message is: Smart Blob space "XXXXXX" is not found. Pleaso provide the name of an existing smart blob space or create it first & then intall i.reach. I have created nothing. should I create something? How?

How? OK Obnoxio, I give up. This makes 3 RTFMs from me today. You were right. RTFM - See the Informix Administrator's Guide section on SmartBLOB spaces. Then set one up and continue with the install. The manuals are available on CD, or online for perusal or download at www.informix.com/answers. Art S. Kagel
Art, I can't seem to find any information about a RTFM manual. Is that an Informix product? Sorry, couldn't resist :-D <bs mode off> James "Art S. You will need to have a sbspace created, as the app pages/images will be stored in a sbspace. Another possible reason for getting that message is that you are not using the correct release of IDS/UD or IDS.2000 for the particular release of i.Reach. Check the release notes. The previous releases of i.Reach work with IDS/UD 9.14 and the current release uses Foundation.2000. I think I've seen this type of message when installing the previous release of i.Reach on Foundation.2000.
