When using either the Intersolve or Informix ODBC connection software I get problems with date fields, in fact any software that connects remotely. I am connecting to three instances of Informix all of which are configured the same (DBCENTURY & DBDATE fields are the same). When running a query one instance will only reply using American notation for dates (mmddyyyy) but the other instances respond using ddmmyyyy. So far I have been unable to find tha cause of the problem or how to fix it, if anyone has any ideas I would love to hear from you, this is causing me a real problem. Depending on the client application, your windows regional settings (short date format) should match the Informix date format. -- Bashar Chalabi CTL, London Callum <callum@online-home.freeserve.co.uk> wrote in message news:84d0ql$g2l$1@newsg4.svr.pol.co.uk... > When using either the Intersolve or Informix ODBC connection software I get > problems with date fields, in fact any software that connects remotely.
