--------------BCABC43242098CEEC4C871C8 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit While trying to create a cluster index on four fields in one table I get an error 350: Index already exists on column; with 108 key already exists. This is a system upgrade to SE version 7.23.UC13. The field in question does not have an index on it. We've been using this same set of indexes for several years now, without this error occurring. Does anyone have a clue on what might cause this error - other than what is reported in the erroneous error message. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Scott Holmes http://www.pacificnet.net/~sholmes sholmes@pacificnet.net Independent Programmer/Analyst Passport 4GL HTML Composer Informix 4GL, SQL --------------------------------------------------------------------- There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------BCABC43242098CEEC4C871C8 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en"> <html> While trying to create a cluster index on four fields in one table I get an error 350: Index already exists on column; with 108 key already exists. First, please do not post HTML, many of us use news and mail readers that do
not ken HTML.
Second, please post the dbschema output for the table in question from the
SE 7.23 instance. I suspect a hidden constraint index is clashing.
