I thought that was the case through the DBI->commit() call only. As you can
see I do not use this method, instead I use DBI->do('COMMIT WORK'). Do you
mean that irrespective of how a commit is done, an explicit BEGIN WORK will
be executed through DBI?
Also consider the case where an SPL is called through PERL and that SPL
contains COMMIT or a ROLLBACK, will DBI do an explicit BEGIN WORK? I 'll
try to write something simple to reproduce this for you tomorrow, I need to
get some sleep now :-)
