We have about 300 GB, and we have put together a script that uses multiple ON-Archive processes to write to the two IBM MagStar tape drives at our site. It takes about ten hours to back it all up. We will be purchasing Spectra Logic Alexandria, and we expect a significant speed-up, since Spectra Logic "multiplexes" data streams onto a given drive. For instance, we could have six ON-Archive streams writing to our two drives, speeding things up significantly. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeff Craig | dbINTELLECT Technologies, Inc.
