sperform coredump, isql v7.20

ok gurus, i'm stumped on this one. i have a table with an index, and one row in it. when i run sperform on the table, it coredumps. if i drop the index, it works fine. i can select the data without any problems using either isql or dbaccess, with or without the index. any ideas why the problem with sperform?
