Damn! You work for PHB, too? Everybody does...
%Does anyone here use SE with a high volume of trasactions? Handling 40+

A few aeons ago, I used SE 7.x(1, I think).something. Shoved multiple
200 Mb+ files through it all day long, each containing about 50,000
records that were twisted, split, joined and otherwise tweaked, using
dbload, a couple of esql/c programs and a stored proc to create a
key. Anyway, the reason I'm telling you this is that we loaded about
22,000 rows per hour. Yes, that ain't so hot, but we whaled on that
server 7x24 and it was incredibly solid. It only went down when
the box went down (Unisys something or other with 4 P66s and 1GB+/-
RAM and a grundle o' disk).

It's curled. You got a problem with that? :-)
