Reading DBF from Informix

hello, can anyone tell me if exists any patch or something else for Informix that help me to read/write DBF files from Informix without using ODBC?

I found Informix Enterprise Gateway Manager , but my need is to connect to .dbf file running on Windows from Informix running on SCO-Unixware and IBM site told that is not a distribution for Unixware, only AIX, HP-UX,Windows and Solaris. There is no native way of this. Do you need to do this on an ongoing bases or just once? I know one product, but it does use ODBC. Try WinSQL (http://synametrics.com/winsql) Why don't you want to use ODBC.
