Regarding these annoying warnings of e-mail viruses please refer to the = following which was received by this sender first hand from Peter = Wimbourne of OPUS NETWORX. True he may have a vested interest in = reducing these messages since he is a McAffee agent and his mail servers = may be overflowing but i) he also has long displayed active interest in = furthering the "connected community" as it were and ii) the S.O.B = probably has more storage than he really knows what to do with. No, = he's not a saint and sometimes can be a real pain in the ..., anyway, = perhaps *this* should be forwarded to all you email friends. You have been included in this transmission because either a) you sent = me a message warning me of an email virus or b) your address was in the = header as a receipient of a similar message. I fully endorse the following and think that you need to know. = Knowledge is power. ----------- It's that time of year again, when people are on holiday and have too = much time on their hands. Invariably someone thinks it would be fun to = start another virus scare, and creates a message warning people of a = virus. Like all well meaning users many of you will copy it to your = friends and colleagues. However these are all hoaxes, and as a McAfee Associates Agent we have = listed some of them for you below. Please do not respond to any similar = messages. Your good intentions simply help create millions of messages = that clog up the servers on the Internet. The best protection against viruses is found by using anti virus = software, updating it frequently, and not pirating software. Evaluation copies of all McAfee products can be found in our Software = Library in the MCAFEE section. Licensing and support can be provided by = OPUS NETWORX. regards - peter wimbourne OPUS NETWORX - Trinidad and Tobago's longest running online service! www.opus.co.tt www.opus-networx.com telnet: opus.co.tt = opus-networx.com email: support@opus.co.tt = support@opus-networx.com Majornet: support@OPN Modem: (809) 628-5023 Phone: (809) 625-5949 Fax: (809) 625-5950 *************************************************************************= ********** "Join The Crew" E-mail Hoax This is NOT an actual virus.
