Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

We currently use Online version 7.23 and GQL version 4.11. Within
windows 95 you will have to use setnet32 to install the 32 bit I-NET
layer needed for connectivity. Other than that, its a piece of cake.
One thing you will have to watch out for is the hosts.equiv file that
resides on your UNIX box. This establishes the trust relationship
that exists between the client and your DBMS server. I have had to
pad all my users in this file as GQL has problems instantiating it.
You will see a 954 error from Informix stating so.
Until anon....
