Hi all
I have to add a chunk to a dbspace in a IOWS 7.20.UC5 running on SCO 5.0.4
(RS5.0.4c).
Old stuff but working fine...until now :-(
The path is:
/dev/usr2 and /dev/usr4 for the mirror.
They are raw devices.
The onspaces command return this error:
The chunk "/dev/usr2" must have group-ID and owner-ID informix.
Of course they have it....! and permissions setted to 660...Is it a bug ?
In that case, is it possible to upgrade easily a 7.20 release to a 7.30,
7.31 ?
Thanx a lot for your answers...

Could /dev/usr2 be a sym-link and the actual device have the woron
permissions?
