Develop w/SCO O.S. 5.x -OR- Win/NT Srvr

We're planning some new 4gl development work for deployment under SCO Open Server 5.x (running on Compaq and HP boxes). We have the option of using MS Win/NT (Pentium clone) or SCO Open Server 5.x (486 clone) as the development box. For several reasons I would like to consider using Win/NT for development despite being more accustomed to developing in various Unix environments. I'm also trying to avoid buying 2 sets of development tools; 1 for win/nt and 1 for SCO Open Server -- of course we'll need runtime copies of everything for the deployment box. Couple of questions: - Does anyone have solid experience developing 4gl apps under both Unix and MS Win/NT arenas and can you compare? - Can .4go p-code files developed under Win/NT be run with fglgo under SCO Open Server? - What happens when you need a custom fglgo under both environments??
