Hello all, I have read the FAQ so I know that using MS Acess against an Informix database is a possibility but the FAQ didn't answer a couple of questions for me. We are running Online 5.03 on an SCO UNIX ODT 3.0 box. I have several networked PCs (TCP/IP) connected to my server hung throughout my organization. In addition, I am running windows for workgroups on these pcs. I have Powerbuilder 4.0 on a couple of these pcs and since I also have I-net and I-star installed, I have been able to directly access my database from my unix host with my pcs. My questions are as follows: 1. Since I have I-star, I-net and microsofts TCP-IP stack already installed on my host, are there any more packages that I will need on the host side to get at the database. 2. What software do I need to install on the pc side to use either MS Access or Visual basic to do some quick and dirty apps in a dos environment while getting the data from the UNIX host. I know I'll at least need ODBC drivers, but I can't tell from the FAQ if these drivers are only applicable to Informix databases on DOS boxes. I thank you all for your help in this endeavor.
