Error 404 on LOAD
I am running Informix 7.24 on Solaris 2.5.1.
I am experiencing the following error when I attempt to load records from a
file into a table in my database:
"404: The cursor or statement is not available"
As the error seemed a little out of context, my first thought was a
permissions problem but I have successfully run insert statements on this
table.
Here is the statement that I am attempting to run:
LOAD FROM 'load.txt' DELIMITER '|' INSERT INTO mytable(id,size)
sample data from load.txt:
1|200
2|250

The version should ideally be upgraded (7.31 or 9.2x), but
that aside, there's nothing obvious wrong.
Is there any hint of a problem in the OnLine log files?
Have you run oncheck etc on the databases?
I assume you're using DB-Access? And this is sufficient to
reproduce the problem. Can you do:
SELECT id, size FROM mytable;
