Hi, /dev/nul becomes NUL, it's clear. /dev/tape becomes \\\\.\\TAPE0, \\\\.\\TAPE1 etc. depending on how many tape devices you have locally at your machine. Raw Chunks can be allocated in a similar way, but are not recommended on WinNT (performance gain max 4%, but debugging rather difficult or impossible). Almost always cooked files are used instead.
