alering systables.fextsize manually

Hi All
I partner in my company moves manually field from systables.fextsize,
so table has a wrong value and I know it can't be done.
I could get all pages from first extent in sysmaster a then correct it.
Could I do this?
I checked table with oncheck -cDI dbm:asuntos and everything is OK.
Any opinions or side effects?
Regards

It depends on the version of IDS that you're using.

If you have the right version (11.50.xC4 - I'm not sure about any
earlier versions), then you can set first extent size as well as next
size.

Best not to futz with the system catalog.

Syntax now supports modifying fextsize as of 10.xC10. Not sure of the 11
version.

thanks for your answers I did a test in a testing instance and everything works fine changing fextsize directly, then I did an onheck -cDI again and it seems to be working without errors. Should I consider other things? thanks again
