Several points: 1) SE 4.10 has no features to ease Y2K compliance though the Informix DATE data type IS compliant if you enter a 2digit year it will assume 19xx. Same with 4GL 4.10. 2) If memory serves HP-UX 10+ incorporated BIG architectural changes. I doubt that SE 4.10 will even run properly. Same with 4GL 4.10. You should seriously consider upgrading to SE 7.24 and 4GL 7.xx. There were several changes going from 4GL 4.xx to 6.xx and new features added then and in the latest 4GL 7.xx release so the upgrade will not be painless but worth it. Art S. Kagel
